Info:Die Cycles Whitworth-Fabrik von Vharles Henry Pugh in Birmingham produzierte zuerst Fahr- und Hochräder und vertrieb diese u.a. über diese Verkaufsagentur in Paris. 1893 schloss sich Cycles Whitworth mit Daniel Rudge zusammen (Rudge-Withworth Coventry, dessen Markenzeichen eine rote Hand vor einem Drahtspeichenrad war). 1894 vereinten sich beide Firmen zu Rudge Whitworth und bezogen ein neues Quartier in der Crow Lane in Coventry. Zunächst baute man noch Fahrräder, bevor 1910 das erste Rudge-Motorrad konstruiert wurde. Zwischen 1912 und 1913 wurde außerdem ein zweisitziger Kleinwagen produziert sowie bis in die 1930-er Jahre Fahrzeugreifen.
Specials:Herrliche Gestaltung mit großem Fahrrad im Unterdruck, zwei schicken Radfahrern, Abb. des Verkaufshauses in Paris und der Fabrikanlage in Birmingham sowie Porträt von Charles Henry Pugh. Außerdem 3 Drahtspeichenräder mit Hand.
Availability:Unentwertet, kpl. Kuponbogen anhängend. Bei uns erst ein einziges Mal 2012 versteigert worden.
