Dear Collector, our 128th FHW-Auction took place yesterday, Saturday, in Wolfenbüttel. A fantastic selection of items met the collectors' tastes. The atmosphere in the auction room was excellent. With the current hammer price of exactly €274,186, an outstanding result was achieved. It didn't get off to a particularly good start. Unfortunately, the two China and Cuba collections attracted very few bids. The high-quality Spanish trading companies could also have performed better. The German section, on the other hand, was extremely strong. Securities from the Zoo Collection and the top pieces from Germany were mostly bid on multiple times. But there were also some surprises in the German section. Deutsche Mark securities and the USA Autograph Collection were well bid on. It's worth reviewing the results...
 

The highlight of the auction, however, was a piece from Prague. Several bidders competed for lot 103, the K.K. priviligierte Zucker-Raffinerei in Königsaal bey Prag. This second-oldest known German-language share was knocked down for 22,000 Euro, starting at 15,000 Euro.
