Ein Jahr nach der Gründung war die Bahn von Murphy’s Station aus 5 Meilen nach Osten vorangekommen, dann stockte der Bau. Versuche, die Bahn zu reorganisieren, blieben erfolglos: 1890 wurde die Strecke aufgelassen und die Gleise verkauft.
