Rückseitig original signiert von Erastus Corning als Trustee. Erastus Corning (1794-1872) war 1833-1853 Direktor einer der ersten US-Eisenbahnen, der Utica & Shenectady RR. Nachdem unter seiner Leitung die meisten New Yorker Bahnlinien in der New York Central zusammen gefasst wurden, ernannte man Corning zum ersten Präsidenten dieses gigantischen Eisenbahnsystems.
