Aber der Bürgerkrieg kam dazwischen, das Projekt wurde gestoppt. Erst im April 1869 wurde die Eisenbahn in Bolivar gegründet. Sie sollte durch Buffalo führen. 1872 war das Eisenbahnbett von Lebanon zum Ostrand von Polk County fertig, aber keine Schienen waren gelegt. Das Geld war alle. 1887 wurde die Bahn für 300.000 $ verkauft an die St. Louis and Western RR. | | Specials: | Zahlung erfolgte bei der German Bank in New York.
