Sie war die erste Eisenbahn, die Washington erreichte. Die Gesellschaft sicherte sich ab 1877 die Wegerechte und komplettierte ihre Linie 1885. Die Strecke führte von Jamesville über Dymond City (1878 fertig) nach Amherst (fertig 1894) bis nach Washington.
