Geplant war ein Volumen von 10 Mio. £, tatsächlich ausgegeben waren mit dem British & International Investment Trust als Konsortialführer 5 Mio. £ “zur Bezahlung schwebender Schulden und für öffentliche Arbeiten”. Abgesichert durch Verpfändung der Überschüsse aus der Salzsteuer. Auch unter der 1928 durch Tschiang Kai-schek errichteten Militärdiktatur wurde die Anleihe noch bis 1939 bedient.
