In Köln börsennotiert. 1930 Fusion mit sechs weiteren Konkurrenten zur Deutsche Pianowerke AG mit Sitz in Braunschweig (deren verbliebenes Werk in Braunschweig bis heute als Schimmel Pianofortefabrik GmbH existiert). Das Werk Andernach wurde stillgelegt.
