AG. 1909 (das Werk hatte inzwischen 1.500 Mitarbeiter) Fertigstellung der 10.000 Druckmaschine: Albert wurde der größte Druckmaschinenbauer in ganz Europa. 1935 Konkurs; die als GmbH gegründete Auffanggesellschaft wurde 1940 wieder in eine AG umgewandelt. 1971 Umfirmierung in albert-frankenthal AG. Die Koenig & Bauer AG in Würzburg baute ihre Beteiligung kontinuierlich aus, bis sie 1990 Alleinaktionär war. Anschließend wurden beide AG’s verschmolzen.
