Auf dem Gebiet Mineralfaserdämmstoffe ist das Unternehmen bis heute Marktführer. In den 1960er Jahren wurde der französische Glaskonzern Saint-Gobain Großaktionär und kaufte nach und nach sämtliche Aktien auf.
