Er war Vice President der Pinos Altos Mining Co. im Staat Chihuahua und President der Medallion Oil Co. in den Kettleman Hills südlich von Coalinga. Während Cuyutlan heute ein schönes Ressort ca. 20 Minuten von Mazatlan entfernt ist, war es in den frühen Jahren des 20.
