Die Ges. erhielt auf 40 Jahre die Konzession zum Betrieb der königlichen Textilmanufaktur in Brihuega, einer Kleinstadt mit kaum 3.000 Einwohnern in der spanischen Provinz Guadalajara. Gründer und Inhaber waren der Marquis Francoise Claude August de Croy, Ritter des Königlichen und Militärischen Ordens vom Heiligen Ludwig und Malteser Erbritter, Peter Andriel, Vizekonsul und Ritter der Ehrenlegion sowie Jean-Marie Laperrière.
