Ab 1942 wurde in den Schulen ganz gezielt für den Kauf von Staatsanleihen geworben: Die Schulkinder konnten helfen, den Krieg zu gewinnen. In der Nachkriegszeit verstärkte das US-Finanzministerium den psychologischen Werbedruck auf die Schulkinder, die jetzt Staatsanleihen für „supporting the principles of freedom and security for the Nation and its people“ (Anleihentext). Die Kinder wurden durch Werbeplakate, Radio-Sendungen, populäre Lieder und Filme aufgefordert, laufend Sparbriefe und Staatsanleihen zu kaufen. Erst in den 1970er Jahren hat die Bereitschaft der US-amerikanischen Jugend für diese Art der Geldinvestitionen merklich nachgelassen. | | Condition: | UNC. | | Sold: | 70,00 EUR |
