Die Wehrmacht bestellt 4000 Pionier-Modelle in spezieller Ausführung. 1958 Fusion mit Express (Neumarkt) und DKW (Ingolstadt) zur Zweirad-Union. 1966 km die Firma Hercules dazu und die gesamte Gruppe wurde von Fichtel & Sachs aus Schweinfurt übernommen.
