Original signiert von J.R. McKinnie als Präsident. James Renwick McKinnie war eine der schillerndsten Persönlichkeiten des Cripple Creek-Distrikts. Er war Soldat der Union im Bürgerkrieg, danach Bisonjäger und "Lebenskünstler", setzte sich auf seine alten Tage mit Frau und sechs Kindern in Colorado Springs nieder. 1892 kaufte er von Bill Fernay für 500$ eine Goldgrube in Battle Mountain, Cripple Creek-Distrikt. 1893 gründete er eine Aktiengesellschaft für den Betrieb dieser Mine. Bis 1894 verdiente er bereits 70.000$ netto. Später verkaufte McKinnie die Mine an die Portland Gold Mining Co., eine der erfolgreichsten Goldminenges. im Cripple Creek-Distrikt.) | | Availability: | Hand signed by J.R. McKinnie as president.
