Er ließ sich in Santa Fé und Corrientes nieder, wo er große Obstplantagen anlegte. Zu Beginn des 20. Jhs. erwarb er 30.000 ha Land am südlichen Ufer des Flußes Atuel in der Provinz Mendoza. Die von ihm gebaute Ladebrücke an dem Fluß Atuel verhalf der ganzen Region für einen wirtschaftlichen Aufstieg. Für seine Verdienste an der Öffentlichkeit wurde die von ihm initiierte Ortschaft von dem argentinischen Präsidenten Agustin B.
