Die Abwicklung der Anleihe in Deutschland übernahmen die Banken die Direction der Disconto-Gesellschaft, die Deutsche Bank und die Norddeutsche Bank in Hamburg. Der Erlös der Anleihe war bestimmt: 1. Für den Wiederaufbau der Stadt Valdivia (seit Mitte des 19. Jhs. Mittelpunkt der deutschen Siedlungen in Chile) 2. Zum Ankauf von Schiffen, zur Herstellung von Küstenverteidigungswerken und Verbesserung der Marine-Arsenale 3. Zur Strassenpflasterung der Stadt Santiago. 4. Zum Ankauf von Geschützen für die Armee 5. Zur Verbesserung der Häfen von Valparaiso und San Antonio. Anleihentext englisch/deutsch.
