Bei Gründung der Gesellschaft 1870 erschien ein von Henry F. Q. d‘Aligny verfasstes Buch „Iron Hills Railway Company of Kentucky, Report upon the Value of the Company‘s Iron Lands located in Carter County, Kentucky“. Das Unternehmen war anscheinend doch so bedeutend, daß von diesem Buch 2011 sogar ein Reprint erschien. 1873 wurde zur Verhüttung des Eisenerzes in Iron Hills (später: Charlotte) zusätzlich ein Hochofen gebaut, der täglich 20 t Roheisen ausspuckte, aber wegen Geldproblemen bereits 1878 wieder stillgelegt wurde. | | Specials: | Herrliche Vignette mit aus dem Bergwerk ausfahrenden Loren, Erzhalden und Abtransport in Erzzügen. | | Availability: | Unentwertet.
