Doch schon 1853 erweiterte man die Pläne, plante nun den Bau einer Dampfeisenbahn und legte Aktien dieser Gesellschaft zur Subskription auf. Obwohl die Bürger des Clinton County fleißig Aktien zeichneten kam das Unternehmen nie richtig in Gang. Die halbfertigen Bahnanlagen übernahm 1870 die neu gegründete Frankfort & Kokoma RR, schuf Verbindungen nach Toledo und St. Louis und brachte die Strecke schließlich in die berühmte „Nickel Plate Road“ ein. | | Specials: | Holzstich-Vignette mit kurzem Personenzug. | | Availability: | Unentwertet.
