Zum Zeitpunkt des Waffenstillstandes in der Schlacht um Frankreich 1940 befanden sich 40 Flugboote des Typs SNCAO CAO.30 und 12 Jagdflugzeuge von Typ SNCAO CAO.200 in Produktion. Ein erfolgversprechendes Projekt war das schwere Bombenflugzeug SNCAO CAO.700, dessen Prototyp im Juni 1940 kurz vor Ende der Kampfhandlungen zum Erstflug abhob. 1941 ging die Soc. Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques de l’Ouest in der Soc. Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques de Sud-Ouest auf, die 1957 in der Gesellschaft Sud Aviation aufging, heute als Soc. Nationale Industrielle Aérospatiale Teil von European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. (EADS), ein bedeutender europäischer Luft-, Raumfahrt- und Rüstungskonzern, nach Boeing das zweitgrößte Luft- und Raumfahrtunternehmen der Welt. | | Specials: | Certificat nominatif d’Actions (Sammelaktie).
