Info:Gegründet um 1900 als Carolina, Glen Anna & Pee Dee RR. Anfangs eine für Erz- und Holztransporte billig gebaute wenige Meilen lange Stichbahn von Thomasville, N.C. Richtung Süden. 1906 bewilligte die Stadt High Point 100.000 $ für die Verlängerung der Bahn von Thomasville nach High Point, die schließlich 1913 in Form von Bonds gezahlt wurden, gleichzeitig Umbenennung wie oben. Der Plan war, die Strecke im Süden an die Seaboard Air Line RR anzuschließen und im Nordosten an die Winston-Salem Ry. Die Pläne wurden noch leicht geändert, ermöglichten der 1914 fertig gestellten Bahn aber fortan, als Wettbewerber zu Strecken der Southern Ry. aufzutreten. An ihrer schließlich 28 Meilen langen Strecke hatte die Bahn zwar 16 Haltepunkte, aber kaum Industrie. So überlebte sie gerade einmal 7 Jahre und wurde dann zwangsversteigert. Einwohner der Endpunkte Thomasville und High Point kauften die Bahn für gerade einmal 125.000 $ und reorganisierten sie 1923 als High Point, Thomasville & Denton RR.

Availability:Unentwertet. Bislang vollkommen unbekannt gewesenes Einzelstück aus einer uralten US-Sammlung.
