Mit 0,78 Meilen Streckenlänge die zweitkleinste Bahngesellschaft, die es in den USA je gab: Sie baute 1895-96 in der Stadt Philadelphia einen von der Connecting Ry. nahe der Rosehill St. zur Cambria St. führenden Abzweig. Mit der zur Pennsylvania RR gehörenden Connecting Ry. hatte es eine besondere Bewandnis: Die PRR kontrollierte auch die Philadelphia & Trenton und hatte ursprünglich vor, diese im Herzen von Philadelphia an ihre Hauptstrecke anzuschließen. Doch Kauf und Abriß von Gebäuden auf der geplanten Trasse führten zu bürgerkriegsähnlichen Kämpfen mit den Bewohnern, und die PRR musste die P&T schließlich in Kensington enden lassen. Zur Verbindung mit der Stammstrecke musste dann die 6,75 Meilen lange Connecting Railway zwischen Frankford Junc. (P&T) und Mantua Junc.
