Die Produktion verlagerte sich von mundgeblasenem Fensterflachglas bald ausschließlich auf Beleuchtungskörper. 1980 Umwandlung in die Brillantleuchten AG, 1985 Gang an die Börse. 1991 im Zuge der Internationalisierung der Absatzmärkte umfirmiert in Brilliant AG, zugleich erreichte die Beschäftigung mit 1.000 Mitarbeitern ihren Höchststand, ehe aus Wettbewerbsgründen die Produktionsverlagerung in Niedriglohnländer erforderlich wird.
