In den 1880er Jahren baute die New York Central RR eine Bahnstrecke durch die Pine Creek Schlucht, an die drei Waldeisenbahnen zum Holztransport angeschlossen wurden. Die Cammal & Black Forest Ry. gehörte der von Joseph Wood und Joseph Childs 1894 errichteten Sägemühle.
