Es war ein sehr elegantes Hotel, besonders ab 1822, als es zur Sommerresidenz des Kaisers avancierte. Ab 1849 mussten normale Hotelgäste draußen bleiben: das Hotel diente danach ausschließlich Kaiser Franz Joseph I. als Sommerpalast (und das blieb so bis 1914). Das Jahr 1853 sah noch einen neuen Gast: Elisabeth von Bayern, bekannt als “Sissi”, die sich liebend gerne in Bad Ischl aufhielt. | | Specials: | Dekorative Umrandung, mit Abb. des Hotelkomplexes.
