Nicht nur die Bahn wurde 1898 eröffnet, sondern, um noch mehr Verkehr anzuziehen, auch ein Vergnügungspark bei Farmersville zwischen Palmer und Easton. Die Strecke schuf erstmals eine Verbindung zwischen den Straßenbahnnetzen von Easton/Phillipsburg und Allentown/Bethlehem.
