Deshalb drängte es ihn in die Selbständigkeit. 1906 erwarb er von Peugeot die Lizenz für den italienischen Markt und montierte danach in seiner Fabrik in Turin sämtliche Peugeot-Modelle mit 5 bis 50 PS.
