Lawson gründete bereits 1896 die Daimler Motor Co. (Patentrechte wurde 1893 von Gottlieb Daimler erworben). Zuerst wurden von der Ges. Tricycles und Quadricycles gebaut. 1899 folgte das Modell 3 1/2 HP, ein Kleinwagen, der mit einem De Dion-Bouton-Motor ausgestattet war. Ein Fahrzeug dieser Marke ist im Museum of Transport in Glasgow zu bewundern. Um die Jahrhundertwende wurde die Produktion eingestellt.
