Geuda meint in der Sprache der Kiowa-Indianer „heilende Quelle“, und tatsächlich gibt es hier im Sumner County eine große Zahl von Salzquellen, woraus sich das Heilbad Geuda Springs entwickelte. Um die Jahrhundertwende war das County bereits von mehr als einem Dutzend Eisenbahnstrecken durchzogen. | | Availability: | Unentwertet.
