Die überau kurvenreiche 4 Meilen lange 3-Fuß-Schmalspurbahn wurde 1874 eröffnet, die 2 Meilen lange Verlängerung nach Mt. Ephraim 1876. Die Phildelphia & Reading übernahm diese Bahn 1884 und baute sie 1885 auf Normalspur um.
