Zunächst Betrieb einer großen Fischereiflotte auf den Great Lakes. Durch Übernahme der Northwestern Fisheries Co. im Bundesstaat Washington kamen 1915 Fangflotten an der Pazifikküste, Kühlhäuser sowie fünf Lachs-Konservenfabriken in Alaska hinzu. In Kanada wurde zudem die New Brunswick Sardine Canning Co. übernommen.
