Zementfabriken und Wasserkraftwerke an der Ill und Alfenz in Lorüns und Ludesch. Erzeugt wurde Portlandzement und Durcitkalk. 1995 übernimmt der weltweit tätige Holcim Konzern das ehemalige Zementwerk Lorüns.
