Erzeugt wurden zunächst Maschinen für die Zuckerindustrie, später auch Bergbaumaschinen sowie Brücken- und Zentralheizungsbau, ab 1900 auch Lokomotivbau. 1903 Aufnahme der Fabrikation von Gasmotoren, 1907 gemeinsam mit Ringhoffer Gründung der Prager Automobilfabrik GmbH (1908 als Automobilabteilung "Praga" dem Werk Lieben eingegliedert). Fusion 1921 mit der Elektrizitäts-AG vorm. Kolben & Co. und 1927 mit der Maschinenbau-AG vorm. Breitfeld, Danek & Co. und Umfirmierung in Cesko-moravská Kolben-Danek AG. 1941 Interessengemeinschaft mit der Ringhoffer-Tatra-Werke AG und zugleich Umfirmierung in Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabriken AG.
