Der Ges. war nur ein sehr kurzes Leben beschieden, schon wenige Jahre nach der Gründung wurde sie in Konkursversteigerungen filettiert: Die Strecke Phalanx-Alliance ging 1891 an die Alliance & Northern RR, die Strecke Alliance-Bergholz kaufte 1895 die Ohio River & Lake Erie RR.
