Betriebslänge 4,61 km, Spurweite 1000 mm. Sie führte von der Station S. Antonio der Locarno-Ponte Brolia-Bignasco-Bahn (LPB) quer durch Locarno über den SBB-Bahnhof bis nach Minusio. Eine Zweiglinie erschloss ausserdem das Ufer des Lago Maggiore. 1914 erfuhr die STL eine geringfügige Erweiterung. 1923 wurde die STL Bestandteil der neu gegründeten Ferrovie regionali ticines (FRT). 1960 wurde der Trambetrieb eingestellt, seitdem befahren Busse der FART (Ferrovie Autolinee Regionali Ticinesi) die Linie. | | Specials: | Mit Jugendstilelementen. | | Availability: | Kpl.
