Noch kein Meter Schienen war verlegt, als die Bahn mit zwei anderen 1902 zur Akron & Barberton Belt RR fusionierte. Diese war eine Güteranschlußbahn in den Städten Barberton und Akron mit eigenem großen Rangierbahnhof, die vor allem Chemikalien zu den Fabriken der Pittsburg Plate Glass, von Babcock & Wilcox sowie O. C. Barber‘s Streichholzfabrik transportierte. Die Bahn stand unter gemeinsamer Kontrolle der Akron, Canton & Youngstown, der Baltimore & Ohio, der Pennsylvania und der Erie RR‘s. 1994 verkauft an die zur Wheeling & Lake Erie Ry. gehörende Akron Barberton Cluster Ry.
