Nach dem Ende der Sklaverei suchte man in allen Amerikas nach neuen billigen Arbeitskräften zum Ausbeuten, und man fand sie in Asien. Diese Firma war engagiert in der Mitte des 19. Jh. beginnenden „Einfuhr“ ungelernter chinesischer Arbeitskräfte, sogenannter „coolies“, nach Cuba, Peru und den West Indies. | | Specials: | Wunderschönes Papier mit Verzierungen und Vignette mit zwei weiblichen Allegorien, als Lithographie gedruckt.
