GmbH”, 1905 nach dem Ausscheiden von Heinrich Ochs Umwandlung in die “Westdeutsche Marmor- und Granitwerke AG”. Geliefert wurden vornehmlich Schalttafeln für die Elektroindustrie, Material für sanitäre Anlagen und Grabdenkmäler, eine Spezialität waren Kirchenarbeiten. Börsennotiert im Freiverkehr Düsseldorf, bezeichnete sich das Unternehmen als “eines der bedeutendsten der deutschen Marmor- und Granitindustrie”, obwohl die Beschäftigtenzahl nach dem 2. Weltkrieg kontinuierlich von 50 auf kaum mehr als 10 sank und der Jahresumsatz lediglich um die Marke von 1 Mio. DM schwankte. 1983 in eine GmbH umgewandelt. | | Availability: | Rückseitig entwertet.
