Sie flog von New York nach Buenos Aires einmal in der Woche mit “Flying Boats” - 7000 Meilen mit 30 Landungen in den Häfen entlang der Strecke. So benötigte die Airline gar keine Flugplätze und hatte zudem die Sicherheit der Wasserflugzeuge über dem Wasser. Folglich verlor die NYBRA in ihrer ganzen Geschichte niemals auch nur ein einziges Flugzeug, einen Passagier oder einen Postsack! Finanziell unterstützt wurde der Firmengründer O’Neill von solch bedeutenden Männern aus der Finanz- und Industriewelt wie James H. Rand (Multimillionär von Remington Rand) R.H. Fleet (Consolidated Aircraft), F.C. Munson (von der Dampfschiffsgesellschaft gleichen Namens), J. E. Reynolds (von “International Founders”) und W. B. Mayo (Ford Motor Co.).
