Eine Vielzahl von Oldsmobile-Modellen wurde hergestellt, ehe 1901 ein Feuer die Werksanlagen völlig vernichtete. Nur ein Fahrzeug blieb verschont, ein kleiner Einzylinder mit gewölbtem Bugschild, der nun als Vorbild für eine neue Serienkonstruktion diente.
