Später wurde die Produktion so umgestellt, daß nur noch einzelne lohnende Sondermaschinen in großen Serien hergestellt wurden. Das Aktienkapital lag im Besitz der Fam. Flottmann, Wiesbaden/Marktredwitz. 1931 wurde der Betrieb in Folge der Weltwirtschaftskrise eingestellt, 1932 Sitzverlegung nach Herne. Die AG ging jedoch nicht in Liquidation, sondern existierte als Mantelgesellschaft weiter. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg Sitzverlegung nach Marktredwitz und Umwandlung in die „Frankenwerk Maschinenfabrik GmbH“.
