Ferrocarriles Unidos de la Habana y Almacenes de Regla, Limitada. Der Banco del Comercio wurde dabei abgetrennt und blieb bis in die 1950er Jahre als eigenständiges Kreditinstitut bestehen. Die Ges. baute im 20. Jh. ein umfangreiches Eisenbahnnetz im Westen Kubas auf (über 1.100 km Gleise um 1917), das Havanna mit Matanzas, Cárdenas und weiter östlich verband. Dazu gehörten Linien wie Habana-Güines (seit 1837/38), Verbindungen nach Regla und spätere Akquisitionen (z. B.
