Neuß’sche Fabriketablissements”. 1876 erwirbt Friedrich Wilhelm Schumacher die Fabrik, seit 1895 fabriziert er auch Präzisionsteile für die Schwarzwälder Uhrenindustrie. Aus der Eigenentwicklung von Maschinen zur Erfüllung der hohen Qualitätsanforderungen entstand dann ein eigenständiger Maschinenbau (vor allem Ziehmaschinen). Heute tätig in den Bereichen Maschinenbau (für die Stahl- und NE-Metall-Industrie), Präzisionsteile (Normteile für Stanzwerkzeuge und Formenbau), neuerdings auch Automobilzulieferer. 1985 Umwandlung in eine AG und Gang an die Börse. Mit dem Großaktionär Babcock Borsig AG wurde 1998 ein Beherrschungsvertrag geschlossen (der 2002 mit der Babcock-Insolvenz erlosch), seitdem gehören knapp 80 % der Schumag-Aktien einem Bankenpool. | | Condition: | Unentwertet, mit Kupons.
