Dass früher niemand mehr als 25 Aktien besitzen durfte, sahen die Aktionäre sicher nicht sehr gerne angesichts von Dividenden von 100 % um die Jahrhundertwende. Nach 1945 gehörte die Transatlantische zum ITT-Konzern und mutierte schließlich zum Automobilzulieferer.
