Stolberg'sche Maschinenfabrik, die viele Zuckerfabriken dieser Zeit mit dem entsprechenden Maschinen ausstattete und offizielle Gründung 1884. Die Rohzuckerproduktion wurde von 34.460 Zentner im Jahre 1908/09 auf 54.000 bei der Kampagene 1917/18 gesteigert. Für eine Aktie besaß man eine Stimme. Für 61.850 Mark wurde eine Anleihe ausgegeben. Die Fabrik bei Hildesheim war die einzige, die nach dem 2. Weltkrieg nicht durch Fusion woanders unterkam: sie ging ganz normal in Konkurs.
