date: | 20.10.1897 | | Picture: |  | | Info: | Die Siedlung Landshut ist um 1150 genannt. 1279 erhielt sie Stadtrechte. 1255-1340 war Landshut Hauptstadt von Niederbayern, 1392-1503 Residenz der Herzöge von Bayern-Landshut. 1536-43 errichtete Herzog Ludwig X. die Stadtresidenz, eine der ersten dt. Renaissance-Bauten. Erbprinz Wilhelm V. ließ die Burg Trausnitz in ein Renaissance-Schloß umwandeln. 1631-41 schuf J. Holl die Jesuitenkirche. Das Dominikanerkloster (heute Regierung) war 1802-26 Landesuniversität. 1861 erhielt das Rathaus eine neugotische Fassade. | | Specials: | Teil einer Anleihe in Höhe von 1,2 Mio.
