Die Gesellschaft betrieb die Sodafabrik in Lukavac, heute ein Dorf mit 200 Einwohnern. Produziert wurden Ammoniaksoda, Kristallsoda und Ätznatron. 1906 rekonstruierte die Ges. die Produktion der Solvay Konzern-Fabrik in Krakau-Podgórze, Polen. Der belgische Chemiker Ernest Solvay erfand das Solvay-Verfahren zur großtechnischen Gewinnung von Soda. Der Solvay-Konzern, der sich in den Händen der Solvay-Familie befindet, beherrscht noch heute den größten Teil der Welt-Sodaerzeugung. | | Specials: | Sehr dekorativ verziert.
