Mekarski. 1879 nahmen die Strassenbahnen von Nantes mit den Makarski-Motoren ihren Betrieb auf, für ganze 40 Jahren. An Nantes Beispiel nehmen, stellte auch Pariser Strassenbahn auf Makarski-System um. Auch die Straßenbahnen von Bern funktionierten mit der Makarski-Drucklufttechnik. Die Makarski-Patente erwarb zuletzt der französische Financier Guy Negre, der Pressluftautomobile bauen wollte.
