Harris, der gleichzeitig auch Präsident der South Easton & Phillipsburg RR war, signierte das vorliegende Papier auch vorderseitig als President. Harris war außerdem leitender Direktor der Lehigh & Hudson River Railway. Im Okt. 1890 übernahm die Lehigh & Hudson River Railway Co. die Kontrolle über die South Easton & Phillipsburg RR, indem sie ihre Aktien zu 100 % übernahm. Die hier angebotene Aktie dokumentiert eindrucksvoll diese Übernahme: die Aktie, die 45 % des Aktienkapitals repräsentiert, wurde am 9.10.1890 auf die L. & H. Rwy. Co. umgeschrieben. Die 1350 shares à 50 $ würden übrigens heute eine Kaufkraft von knapp 3 Mio. Euro haben. Sehr dekorative Wappenvignette.
