Innerhalb weniger Jahre wurde die Gesellschaft durch die Brüder Albert E., Leslie G. und H.M. Carlton zu einem der wichtigsten Treibstofflieferanten im Cripple Creek Distrikt. Durch weitere erfolgreiche Projekte, u.a. die Golden Cycle, kontrollierten die Carltons Minen, Banken, Eisenbahnen, Hütten, Kohleges. u.s.w. - über 200 Mio. $ an Vermögenswerten. Die Carltons hatten ultimativ den größten Einfluß im Cripple Creek Distrikt nach 1900. | | Specials: | Der Titel ist ausgestellt auf den Firmengründer J. M Parker und trägt vorderseitig seine eigenhändige Signatur als Präsident und rückseitig als Aktieninhaber. Links auf dem Stub wurde die Übertragung der Anteile auf W.K. Gillett als Trustee vermerkt. Gillett war ein Colorado Midland Railway Agent und initiierte den Bau des Midland Terminals - zwischen Divide und Cripple Creek - und wurde zu einer bedeutenden Person in der frühen Entwicklung im Goldgürtel (die Stadt Gillett wurde nach ihm benannt). Im Hauptgebäude der Colorado Trading & Transfer befindet sich heute das Cripple Creek Mining Museum. Rarität. | | Availability: | This company was started by J.F. Eisenhart and J.M. Parker. Owned warehouses throughout the Cripple Creek Gold Mining District, El Paso County, Colorado. Also owned wagons, teams of horses, etc. Parker founded the first bank in the Town of Fremont (Cripple Creek). Within a couple of years, the Colorado Trading & Transfer Co. became one of the most important fuel supply companies in the Cripple Creek District. Issued to J.M.
